A research project to develop Biodiversity Conservation Composite Index (BCCI), which reflects the effectiveness of biodiversity conservation, has been launched in Shiga Prefecture as a collaboration among academia, finance, and local community foundation.
The goal of this project is to develop an innovative comprehensive index that links community-based biodiversity conservation with social and economic activities toward the realization of the global trend of “Nature Positive”.
In order to implement this project, we will work together in this project funded by Shiga Prefecture.
